The name ‘Tuthie Afrika’ derives from the Kikuyu language, a tribe originating in the Central Highlands of Kenya. Translated into English, Tuthie Afrika means ‘Let’s go Africa’.

With a maximum group size of 6, we are able to tailor-make a private itinerary especially to suit your accommodation needs, destinations and the size of your party.

Tuthie Afrika was founded in 2013 when we saw the need to introduce an inexpensive way of small group travel while showcasing what this beautiful continent has to offer.

A professional tour leader, driver, mechanic and cook for over 10 years, our Kenyan partner Arthur Chege is dedicated to providing the best service and experience that money can buy. He speaks 8 tribal African languages as well as English, has worked in over 22 countries on the continent and has driven over 680,000km in a professional capacity.
